At PCL, we conduct business to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and are compliant with the governing laws and regulations.

Corporate Governance

PCL is a member of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) and demonstrates strict compliance with international and domestic regulations in the regions we operate. We are committed to promoting a culture that values trust, cooperation, and mutual respect. Our corporate governance standards are based on our corporate values and ethical guidelines. Besides established whistleblowing and anti-corruption policies, we also have a Sanctions Compliance policy which states our commitment to conduct business with integrity, fairness, impartiality, and in an ethical and proper manner.
  • Anti-Corruption Policy: We hold our employees to the highest ethical standards and only work with business partners who have values similar to ours. Download Anti-Corruption Policy.
  • Whistle Blowing Policy: We provide an avenue for all PCL employees and members of the public to disclose any improper conduct within the Group. Download Whistle Blowing Policy.

Human Capital Development

We aim to hire and retain highly skilled, experienced, and committed crew to maintain our fleet standards through:

  • Constantly improvising trainings customised for staff to ensure they can remain agile to the evolving business landscape and overcome unprecedented headwinds in this nascent industry.
  • Encouraging learning by organising corporate workshops and seminars throughout the year to continually equip our staff with the essential knowledge and skills to hone their craft and mastery. We also leverage web-based communication tools for onboarding briefing to our senior management before boarding our vessels.

Implementing talent development programs, employee engagement activities and talent management practices which include developing a Crew Welfare & Family Engagement strategy, utilising the whistleblower platform, conducting vetting inspection / roving superintendents, providing ship-to-shore transfers, organising crew training & seminars, implementing exit interview processes, and arranging office visits for the Vessel Senior Management Team (SMT) to meet the SMT ashore.
